Privacy Policy

UseAlibi is built privacy-first: the location you set travels from the app, down a USB cable, to your iPhone — and nowhere else. This policy explains what little we do collect, why, and your choices.

1. What we don't collect

2. What we collect

3. How we use it

To provide and secure the service: creating your account, verifying your license, delivering downloads and updates, answering support requests, sending the waitlist launch email, and meeting legal obligations (like tax records for purchases). We do not sell your personal information.

4. Who we share it with

Only service providers who need it to run UseAlibi: our payment processor (billing), email provider (transactional and waitlist email), authentication provider (sign-in), and hosting providers. Each processes data on our behalf under their own privacy commitments. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

5. Cookies

The website uses only the cookies and local storage needed for it to function (such as keeping you signed in to the customer portal). We do not use advertising cookies.

6. Data retention

Account and purchase records are kept while your account exists and as long as the law requires (for example, tax rules). Waitlist emails are deleted after launch communications finish or when you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your account data at any time.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA, UK, and California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Email usealibisupport@gmail.com and we will handle your request.

8. Children

UseAlibi is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Changes

We will post any changes to this policy here with an updated effective date, and notify you by email if the changes are material.
