Terms of Service
Effective July 22, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the UseAlibi desktop application and the usealibi.com website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, purchasing a license, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What UseAlibi does
UseAlibi is a Windows application that sets the reported GPS location of an iPhone connected to your computer by USB cable, using the developer location service built into iOS. The simulated location applies only to a device you have physically connected, trusted, and configured, and only while it is tethered.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to purchase or use the Service.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Keep your email address current so we can reach you about your license and important changes.
5. Licenses, subscriptions, and billing
- A license permits you to install and use UseAlibi on computers you own or control, with devices you own or control.
- Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Introductory and beta prices are temporary and may increase at any time, including when the beta period ends. Any price change applies going forward only and never to a period you have already paid for.
- For billing questions or refund requests, contact usealibisupport@gmail.com.
6. Acceptable use
UseAlibi is a developer, QA, gaming, and privacy tool for devices you own and control. You agree that you will not use the Service to:
- violate any law or regulation, or the rights of any person;
- stalk, harass, or deceive any person, including misrepresenting your location to people who rely on it for safety;
- commit fraud, or defeat fraud-prevention, anti-cheat, or integrity systems of any third-party service;
- interfere with emergency services or location systems used by them;
- set the location of a device you do not own or are not authorized to control.
Third-party apps have their own terms of service, and some prohibit or penalize simulated locations. You are responsible for how you use a changed location within those apps, including any consequences to your accounts in them.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including the application, website, brand, and content, is owned by UseAlibi and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Your license grants you use, not ownership. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the application except where the law permits it despite this restriction.
8. Disclaimers
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- UseAlibi is not developed by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Apple Inc. iPhone, iOS, Find My, and Apple Maps are trademarks of Apple Inc. All other app and product names on this site are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to state factual compatibility.
- iOS updates may temporarily affect functionality; we work to restore compatibility promptly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UseAlibi will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, including the acceptable-use rules in Section 6. You may stop using the Service at any time; Sections 6–9 survive termination.
11. Affiliate program
If you join the UseAlibi affiliate program, these terms apply in addition to the rest of these Terms.
- Eligibility. You must have a UseAlibi account, be at least 18, and give accurate information, including the social accounts you promote on. We may approve or decline any affiliate at our discretion.
- Referral commission. You earn 15% of the amount a new customer actually pays (net of taxes, processing fees, refunds, and chargebacks) when they sign up through your referral link and buy a plan. A customer is attributed to the affiliate whose link they most recently used before creating their account, and each customer can be attributed to only one affiliate.
- Per-view payouts. Approved videos earn US$5 per 100,000 genuine views. To be paid you must submit the video link and view count; payment is made only after we review the submission and mark it eligible. We may request proof and may decline any submission whose views we cannot verify or reasonably believe to be inflated, incentivized, purchased, or artificial.
- Referral links. Your custom link must not be offensive or deceptive, and must not impersonate UseAlibi, our staff, or any other person or brand. We may reject, change, or reclaim any link.
- Prohibited conduct. You may not refer yourself or accounts you control; generate fake or incentivized sign-ups, clicks, or views; use bots, click farms, or purchased traffic; bid on or misuse our trademarks; run misleading advertising; spam; misrepresent the product; or promote UseAlibi in any way that breaks these Terms, a platform's rules, or the law. Doing so voids the related earnings and may end your participation.
- Payment. Earnings accrue as pending and become payable once the underlying sale is final (past any refund window) or a per-view submission is approved. We may set a minimum payout threshold and a payout schedule, and we may withhold or reverse amounts tied to refunds, chargebacks, fraud, or policy violations. You are an independent contractor — not an employee or agent — and you are solely responsible for any taxes on what you earn.
- Changes and termination. We may change commission rates, requirements, or the program itself, and may suspend or end your participation, at any time. Earnings properly earned before a change or termination remain payable, subject to the rules above.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated effective date, and where required, by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
